Okay, we are going to go back a little bit. Back to this past summer. Last July I did the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer but before I did that, I had to do a bit of training to get prepared for it (it was 39.3 miles...). Wendi was my training buddy and we did the hike up to Timpanogos Cave. It was May or June and we are all wearing sweatershirts and pants. We even walked past some snow that had not yet melted. It wasn't an easy hike but it was a lot of fun. Everyone knows I am deathly afraid of heights, so that was probably the hardest part for me. Ian was my support and held my hand so that "I wouldn't be scared" ;) That was until a bee flew around us and then he hid behind me ;)
The cave is really an amazing sight and if you live in Utah and have not yet done it, you really should! It is incredible what nature can do on its own with just some water and minerals. It is quite dark in there, I mean it is a CAVE, so when I took pictures, it was blinding! There is a shot of Ian looking up and the flash got him in the eyes. He was not my biggest fan after that ;) I got the "Mom! Stop taking pictures!" But I am glad that I did, even at my son's expense ;)
